The
conference held on Friday, May 24 at the Chamber of Commerce of Salerno was an
event aimed at promoting greater awareness and understanding of the needs of
people affected by autism spectrum disorders.
The
latest discoveries in assistive technology, best practices in implementing
technological solutions and the benefits that these innovations can bring to
the autistic community were explored.
The key
topics of the conference were: the application of artificial intelligence in
the early diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders; The development
and implementation of dedicated applications and software to support people
with autism in everyday activities; the use of robotics and virtual reality to
promote learning and socialization for children and adults with autism; The
ethical and legal challenges of using technology in autism.
The
conference was an important opportunity to bring together experts,
professionals in the field, health care workers but also to involve families,
in order to discuss and deepen technological innovations in the context of
autism spectrum disorders.
